Senior Laravel PHP Developer
Scarborough
Job Title: Senior Laravel PHP Developer

We also collaborate with select industry-leading partners who provide niche expertise and support.
In line with continual company growth, we are looking to recruit a talented PHP API / Full Stack Developer to join us. Working daily within the existing team of fifteen expert developers you will report to the Head of Development and the Front End Lead. Your responsibility will be to help maintain and develop the functionality for the customer facing website and apps via API technologies whilst keeping a firm eye on the future and bringing new and exciting ideas to the team.
Our office, located on the outskirts of Scarborough, offers convenient access to the A64, Seamer train station, and public transportation, along with free parking.
The role is full time, the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
Competitive Salary, Dependent on Experience & Skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the API that powers the customer facing websites and apps is stable, secure and performant at all times.
- Work on your own or with other developers to add new features, functionality and logic to the customer facing platforms.
- Ensure thorough data consistency and cleanliness is observed.
Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and expertise in web development or similar is preferred.
- Working experience of the Laravel framework (or similar) is required.
- Knowledge of two or more of RESTFUL APIs, CRUD operations, Web and App Infrastructure Security and the LAMP stack.
- ‘Full Stack’ expertise with front end technologies such as Vue.js, Swift or Kotlin would be beneficial, but not a requirement.
- CI/CD Pipeline experience with GitHub, Jenkins or similar is preferred.

Working within the marketing team, assisting the Marketing Creative Lead and reporting to the Head of Marketing the successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day tasks associated with marketing and creative.

Key Responsibilities:
● Work with the marketing team to generate effective video content for digital campaigns, social media, email, and website visuals.
● Produce high-quality video content for marketing campaigns and shoots, ensuring all output aligns with brand guidelines.
● Collaborate with the Marketing Creative Lead to plan and execute video shoots for key campaigns and product launches.
● Work alongside the social media team to create timely, engaging video content for daily posts, helping to boost audience engagement.
● Edit and enhance video content, maintaining high production values and consistency with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
● Assist with content creation for other marketing channels as needed, including still photography and print assets.
● Ensure all video assets are stored and managed effectively, making content easily accessible across marketing channels.
● Manage multiple projects with an organised approach, meeting deadlines while producing high-quality video assets.
Skills & Experience:
● Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and other video production tools.
● Strong understanding of video production, including filming, editing, sound, and lighting techniques.
● A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual storytelling.
● Strong knowledge of social media platforms and the types of video content that perform best on each.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
● Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Previous experience in video production, preferably in fashion or e-commerce (desirable but not essential).
● Positive attitude, creative approach, and the confidence to contribute ideas in team discussions.

Skills:

● Create customer orders, process payments and work through Customer returns/exchanges.
● Track parcels and liaise with couriers to follow up with delivery progress.
● Accurate measurement of garments to provide sizing information to customers.

● Be able to work as part of a team and independently.
● Have computer literacy, with a proficiency in Excel.
● Be able to be consistently efficient including during busy periods.
● Be able to work on a rota basis with some flexibility.
